Most of us in the USA are getting ready to celebrate Independence Day (4th of July), and no celebration is complete without a display of colorful explosions. This means fireworks! While it might be tempting to capture video of the light displays with your shiny new drone, the FAA wants you to think again and keep your drone away from fireworks.
Like the FAA, we want to remind everyone to be safe and not fly their drones near the firework shows this Fourth of July. Here are general guidelines for people flying drones:
- Don’t fly your drone in or near fireworks
- Don’t fly over people
- Don’t fly near airports
