ARE DRONES THE NEW JANITORS? AT LARGE VENUES THEY MIGHT BE!

We know, we know. Everyone is tired of hearing about COVID-19. But with all of these amazing new uses for drones, we’ve never been happier to turn on the news!

EagleHawk developed a system to spray disinfectant on large areas like indoor and outdoor sports stadiums. What originated as a UAS roof inspecting business, is now a drone disinfecting business! When EagleHawk realized that work drying up during the pandemic, they refocused on how they could jump in and help. The result? An efficient way of killing COVID coo-tees! They’ve begun marketing their services to colleges, minor and major league sporting venues.

Their design keeps the disinfectant on the ground, in a tank, and uses a pump to get it to the drone for spraying. This way the drone doesn’t even need to stop to reload! The best part? The big drone with the sprayers needs a smaller drone to keep the hose from getting hung up, so it’s like it’s got it’s own little cheerleader! Too cute!

Here’s to hoping crowded stadiums exist in our nearish future!
