MORE LIKE DROPPIN’ DAT… WELL YOU’LL SEE
Israel is known for a lot of things. Its beautiful landscape makes you feel like you’re in another world, its striking architecture reminds us of the past, and the food. Phenomenal. But there is one familiar aspect that we as Americans would recognize immediately.
Hippies.
That’s right, beatniks, bohemians, flower children, gypsies, whatever you know them as. Tel Aviv experienced an activist group who are currently working on legalizing marijuana for recreational use. Surprise, surprise. But these aren’t just regular hippies, these are “advanced hippies” (That’s a Spongebob reference for anyone over 12). These “advanced hippies” used a drone to drop dime ba… erm.. small packets of an illegal substance to the citizens below. Police have warned people to not use the substance, but the sale of McNuggets saw a spike later that evening…
FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET
2020 has been a doozy. We can all agree on that, right? But we like to see the silver lining. Arguably the greatest line ever issued over an American airlines radio happened at the end of August.
American Flight 1997: “Tower, American 1997, we just passed a guy in a jetpack.”
I mean… This stuff writes itself. What else do you people want? The Superman wannabe was roughly 3000ft AGL tangoing with the giants of the air like American, Jet Blue, and Skywest. Which means, they not only have a cool jetpack, but the cojones on that guy. It could have been Elon Musk finally trying to live up to the Ironman comparison? The world may never find out. But the FBI is looking into it, so we will probably find out.
NEW BIRD DISCOVERED IN THE AMAZON
Well creating the richest person to ever have existed isn’t the only news coming out of Amazon these days. They were just approved by the FAA to start a trial period of drone deliveries through Amazon Air! So we guess having a landing pad will be a selling feature when you go to sell your house in the future.
Amazon has said they will start testing immediately, but they didn’t say where. We guess it’s because they don’t want people stealing their packages off of their doorsteps.
We’re still years away from regular deliveries so you still have to buy and wear pants. Bummer, we know. But with all of the biggest names in tech and now another of the world’s richest companies stepping into the ring, things will probably start happening sooner rather than later. Unless you don’t have Amazon Prime. Then it might be later.
