It’s happening — those test deliveries we’ve been talking about (via Google’s Wing drone) are finally taking off next month in Virginia. And Walgreens announced it’ll be the one to partner up with Wing to provide the goods. They’ll have over 100 products available to Christiansburg residents in addition to a selection of “packs.” We know what you’re thinking — are people really that lazy that they need a drone to deliver their munchies!?
Well, yes, probably. But the idea is also for people to be able to stay home and take care of their sick kids or not spread their own flu-y germs while still being able to get the things they need like ibuprofen and cough medicine. Prescription drugs are not a part of this service, so don’t be expecting oxy raining from the sky or anything. We’d love to know what you’d order!
